David is the Managing Director and Founder of indigenous company Yanun (Ngarrindjeri to communicate with others, talking, speaking, sharing)
David is a dynamic management professional and integrated project services specialist with 19 years’ combined experience in the natural resources, civil infrastructure, defence, and international security industries.
David understands and respects Defence’s operational needs, having spent 8 years in the Australian Special Forces, serving as a Navy Clearance Diver and Special Operations Sniper. David later spent time working as a Team Leader and Project Manager in operational theatres such as Ramadi, Iraq.
Yirigaa are fortunate to have David as a member on the Yirigaa advisory board, said Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO. David is a successful businessman and a proud Australian Aboriginal who shares a passion that complements Yirigaa’s objective to empower Australia’s First People to build a sustained economy and to create lifestyle opportunities through education, mentorship leading to a career in key areas such as Cyber Security, Data Science and Software Development.
