Yirigaa Chairman Nyunggai Warren Mundine AO said Gavin is a strategic data science leader who brings 20+ years of leadership experience in global technology and financial institutions, as well as the Gaming industry. Gavin has held roles most recently as Chief Data Scientist/ Principal at Deloitte, as well as Director of Data Science at KPMG and is currently Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at PSN (Public Sector Network).
Yirigaa is an indigenous company, focussed on providing IT career opportunities for indigenous Australians in key areas such as Cyber Security, Data Science and Software Development an advocate for empowering Australia’s First People to build a sustained economy and to create business opportunities. Gavin is well placed to make a real difference on the advisory board with this initiative, which the Yirigaa board are all very excited about, said Yirigaa Managing Director and co-founder, Jeff Whitton.
